Student Scholarship Opportunities

In recognition of the exceptional efforts and contributions by individual undergraduate research students and research teams, the Methuselah Foundation has allotted scholarship funding to MFURI to be distributed by the administration as seen fit.  There are two types of scholarships available:

-Individual Student Scholarships ($1,000 annually)
-Student Group Scholarships ($1,000 annually)

   

 
MFURI Scholarships

Individual Student Scholarships

Overview:

The MFURI Individual Student Scholarships are multiple awards ranging in value from $100.00 - $300.00 and are presented twice per year to students who have made exceptional contributions to SENS and the Methuselah Foundation.

Qualifications:

Students who apply for this scholarship must be of sound moral character, be full or part time students, be officially recognized as having MFURI involvement, and must have made (or be making) significant contributions to the SENS agenda or the Methuselah Foundation.

Student Group Scholarships

Overview:

The MFURI Student Group Scholarships consist of two $500.00 scholarships presented once per year to a research team that has made exceptional contributions to SENS and the Methuselah Foundation.

Application Deadline:  April 20th, 2008

Qualifications:

This scholarship is intended for the MFURI Student Group that has gone above and beyond all expectations in their promotional, fundraising, or research efforts with SENS or the Methuselah Foundation.  The group must be MFURI recognized, and must have been active for a minimum of one semester before applying.
